Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you offer year-round fishing?

Absolutely! Our fishery changes throughout the year, and there are opportunities both offshore and inshore year-round.

  • How many people can join?

Our offshore charters can carry up to 6 passengers, and our inshore charters can carry up to 2.

  • What's your catch and release policy?

We follow a catch-and-release policy for Redfish and Trout on our inshore charters, but our offshore charters are completely up to the angler on what their goals are and what is legal.

  • What areas do you fish?

Our offshore charters are in the Gulf typically from Mexico Beach to Grayton Beach. Our inshore charters stay within the St. Andrews Bay system around Panama City Beach.

  • Can kids go on fishing trips?

  • When is Red Snapper season on 30A?

Red Snapper season typically runs from June through July in federal Gulf waters, with specific dates announced annually by NOAA. Check current regulations before booking your offshore charter.
  • How far ahead should I book my charter?

We recommend booking 2-4 weeks in advance, especially during peak season and Red Snapper season. Popular dates fill quickly, so early booking ensures your preferred trip timing.
  • What happens if weather is bad on our trip day?

Safety comes first - we'll reschedule your charter for dangerous conditions. We monitor weather closely and contact you 24 hours before departure to discuss conditions and rescheduling options.
  • What's the difference between inshore and offshore fishing?

Inshore trips target redfish and trout in bay systems using light tackle. Offshore charters go to Gulf waters for bottom fish like Red Snapper and triggerfish.

Our offshore charters accommodate up to 6 passengers for bottom fishing trips. Inshore fly fishing and light tackle charters carry up to 2 people for personalized instruction.
  • Do you provide all fishing equipment?

Yes, we provide all professional fishing equipment including rods, reels, tackle, and bait. You just need to bring sunscreen, snacks, and a valid Florida fishing license.

Our 2-3 hour kids trips work great for ages 4 and up. We tailor the experience to each child's attention span and skill level in calm, family-friendly waters.
